The Fet Gorge and the “Wall of China” at Finestres are two of the least known natural wonders of the Canelles reservoir, with natural vulture nesting areas and impressive vertical walls. Before beginning our walking trip through the abandoned villages, which leads tothe Montfalcó refuge, we will replenish ourselves with local delicacies and Costers del Segre wines.
The next day we walk along steps and high walkways to the spectacular Mont-rebei gorge, one of the most beautiful places in Catalonia. On arrival,a hot prepared meal will be waiting for us and will provide us with the energy we need to head back through the gorge, this time seeing it from the perspective that only a kayak can give. In the evening, after a gourmet dinner, we will sit around a bond-fire at our glamping campsite to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine while we admire the stars of the “UNESCO Starlight Reserve” sky.
On the last day we will have a tandem hang gliding flight with Joel, the only pilot in the area licensed to perform such flights. The air currents there should allow us to enjoy the sky and the scenery in Montsec for some time and, weather permitting, we can keep on going up to 1000 metres above the launch area. We then draw our adventure to a close with a glass of cava wine.
