Via Ferrata in Cala Molí

Via ferrata Medium /Cala Moli (St Feliu de Guíxols) (2 part closed for nesting until May 30):

It is the only via ferrata in Europe located so close to the sea with a length of 480 meters, in fact, all the activity will be carried out right in front of the Mediterranean Sea. If you are in the area, you cannot miss this unique experience of discovering the Costa Brava in an unique and active way.

Difficulty level: 1 Beginner-Advanced level section / 2 medium level section (2 part closed for nesting until May 30).

This via ferrata requires a minimum of physical condition, it is not difficult, however, it is not advised for beginners. It has 2 sections. The first leg is a K2 and the second leg is a K3 on the Hüsler scale.

The first section with a flanking and a passage will make us enjoy the adventure without a high difficulty. The second section is more demanding than the previous one, more aerial is made, in some sections, at 28 meters high, (it is necessary not to have a fear of heights), will allow us to enjoy a unique experience. Always with absolute security.

At all times the guide will be helping and giving support to safely face the progression of the via ferrata for all participants.

If on the first section of the via ferrata someone does not wish to continue there are different ways to leave it. Also, before starting the 2nd section, there may be people advised by the guides not to continue or people who won’t wish to. Once it’s started there’s no possibility of leaving, it has to be finished.

We carry out the activity with small groups, 1 qualified guide will carry 6, maximum 8 clients. Climber minimum height 1.55 metres.

We need the name and last name of each participant, and the number of your IDs or passports, to prepare the insurance.

Very crowded on weekends.

Briefing: 20 minutes.

Access to the via: immediate.

Activity duration:  3:00/4:00 hours, depending on the chosen schedule and how crowded it is.

Return: 5 minutes.

Beverage: 30 minutes.

From this point to Mirador de las Triadores, where the guide’s car will be parked, there is a 10 minutes’ walk through the GR-92.

Whoever parks there may be fined 300 €
